Hearts to Homes has eased the transition from foster care to independence for over 650 young adults in New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam.

We are pleased to announce that our Caring Hearts event raised $33,000!

This will allow us to furnish the first apartments of nearly 15 young adults in need.

We appreciate the generosity of those who sponsored the event, bought a ticket, donated auction or raffle items, bid on auction items, purchased raffle tickets and made donations! Thank you also to our co-chairs, Jill and Dave Savetz and Maureen Noonan, our volunteers and the staff at Cold Spring Country Club.

Thank you, also, to our guest speaker, Michael Bracken of MercyFirst. His words were informative and truly shared the experience of getting ready to move into a first independent home and what a relief it is for a young person, who is aging out of foster care, to know that they will have what they need to furnish that home.
